The Office of the Provost is extending the deadline to submit proposals for the Faculty Collaborative Excellence Program until October 1, 2024. The Faculty Collaborative Excellence Program is an initiative designed to enhance our university’s academic and research capabilities through cluster hiring. The program aims to attract and integrate interdisciplinary scholars who will contribute to our intellectual diversity, enhance existing research strengths, and address emerging areas of scholarly importance.
Program Details:
• Eligibility: Full-time, tenured, and tenure-track positions are eligible. Schools and departments, with Dean approval, may apply individually or collaboratively for a cluster of hires.

• Cluster Composition: Proposals should typically include three hires that represent a mix of senior, mid-career, and early-career scholars across at least two departments or schools.
Submission Guidelines: Proposals should include a rationale, evidence of existing strengths, details of proposed positions, plans for interdisciplinary collaboration, and a support and resources plan. Full guidelines
